Shutting down this morning’s live feed was at best lame. Regardless of the excuse that is offered it was totally a failure. Much good will was lost.
The link on the home page reads “Watch the MIX Keynotes Online” and brings me to this page. The link to the on-demand keynotes takes me back to the same home page!

Agghhh!
Can we be a bit more specific please?
I loved the keynote! Specially Bill Buxton, he was so full of energy, not as much as Ballmer or as less as Bill G. Scott was excellent too, but Bill really made it rock to begin with.
Where are the sesssions from Mix 2009 online? They mentioned these “encoding ninjas” taht would be posting the stuff after the sessions ended almost live…we still don’t have the sessions from yesterday and I remember back in Mix 2008 and PDC 2008 they were updated that afternoon.
The food has been exquisite, the service has been exemplary, and the speakers have been fantastic. I am extremely excited about Blend 3, BizSpark, Live Framework, and Silverlight 3. Bill Buxton gave excellent business advice to the students in attendance; take it to heart.
Keynotes: Fantastic!
Sessions: 1 bad one for me, 2 very good ones.
Organisation: 1st Class, congrats to @amyrc and her team. Really great stuff.
Venue: World class.
Only complaints are
1. Several sessions clash that are obvious clashes. I.e. Bill Buxtons Q&A clashing with the SketchFlow session. Crazy.
2. A better “What is on everywhere at the moment” type timetable. It’s tricky to find out whats going on, not everything is listed clearly on the mix site.
But they’re minor points. I’m only including them cause you’re looking for criticism I’m sure :)
@Bart we strive to bring sessions online within 24. I’m not sure who told you that they would be available “almost live” but that’s not right; for MIX08 and PDC08 you might have been seeing Day 1 sessions showing up on Day 2, Day 2 sessions showing up on Day 3, etc.
If you look at http://videos.visitmix.com/MIX09 you can see where sessions are starting to show up from Day 1. You can also browse by agenda at https://content.visitmix.com/2009/Sessions/ – so right now if you browse Day 1 sessions you’ll see that most of them have a play icon in the lower half of the screen when you select an individual session.
