Melanie Verville

Mélanie is a student researcher with the Research Lab on Political Communication (GRCP). She’s also currently doing a master’s degree in Public Communication at the Information and Communication Department of Université Laval. As part of her thesis, Mélanie will investigate how Quebec’s provincial political parties use social media to promote citizens’ political involvement and engagement. She holds an undergraduate degree in Public Relations from Université du Québec à Montréal and an English Certificate from McGill University. Mélanie is also a student member of the Centre for the Study of Democratic Citizenship. Prior to her master’s, Mélanie worked for three years at the Portage Foundation.
