2008 MIX Worldwide Events
REMIX RUSSIA
Held in one of the most famous locations in Russian history – Pillars Hall of House of Unions, ReMIX Russia attracted 1200 web developers and 100 journalists. In the tradition of MIX08, Las Vegas style, Steve Ballmer was interviewed by a local internet celebrity and most influential blogger – Anton Nossik. Afterward, Ballmer answered questions submitted by the public. Evening activities included a panel discussion with participation of Russian internet celebrities talking about Microsoft and the future of the web. MIX Essentials Belgium
Microsoft BeneLux organized MIX Essential / Digital Inspiration Day, which included a keynote by Steve Ballmer. Together these two events touched 1,200 attendees, including students, web designers, Belgian Prime Minister Leterme, HRH Prince Philippe, Walloon Minister Marcourt, and top CEO’s and CMO’s from all sectors (e.g. Telco, Media, advertising and more). Session content delivered by 4 of Belgium’s top design firms (Truvo, Emakina, These Days, LBI and Nascom) highlighted the designer/developer collaboration.
